Serving as Jaguar's best-selling model, the 2023 F-Pace is a midsize SUV equipped with seating for five people and offering all of the luxury, technology and performance you might want in a stylish and upscale crossover. It is one of three SUVs in the Jaguar lineup, bigger than the E-Pace, priced beneath the electric I-Pace, and more diverse than either of its siblings.
Jaguars are all about style and design, and these traits largely define the 2023 F-Pace. It is one of the more attractive vehicles in its class, and like so many Jags of the past, the F-Pace is aging gracefully. Plus, it is sized in a sweet spot between typical compact and midsize luxury SUVs, making it appealing to people who want a little extra passenger and cargo room without much added bulk.
For 2023, the F-Pace lineup adds a new SVR Edition 1988 variant that Jaguar will produce in limited quantities. Created by SV Bespoke and built by Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations, the F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 is the first limited-edition version of the popular SUV. It commemorates Jaguar's win in the 1988 24 Hours of LeMans, and only 394 will roll out of the factory, one for each lap taken by the winning XJR-9 LM in the race.
The new SVR Edition 1988 brings renewed attention to the F-Pace while Jaguar prepares for the company's upcoming switch to electric vehicles. Is it expensive? Yes. But for Jaguar buyers who want an exclusive model equipped with a gas-fueled supercharged V8 engine before the company's entire lineup goes electric, the new Edition 1988 is likely worth the price.
